Dr. Shan Young

As a teenager, Dr. Shan Young began studying the Passion of Jesus. For the next three decades, he read hundreds of articles and books written from almost every possible perspective about the crucifixion of Christ and the fulfillment of messianic prophecies. He has catalogued thousands of pages of notes.

Along the way, he also obtained a BA in History and an MD degree from Emory University, where he then served as Chief Administrative Resident. (He has maintained a solo medical practice since 1991.) He married the love of his life and built a family of six children who have blessed him with two grandchildren.

For the past twenty years, demand has steadily increased for Dr. Young’s appearance at various churches and conferences. Audiences of nearly every aspect of the Christian faith and every skin color on the planet have learned about the details of the Passion – and how those details reveal God’s meticulous planning of man’s salvation.

GR serves as the management home for Dr. Young. His manuscript, CRUSHED: A Physician’s Analysis of Jesus’ Agony, is being presented to publishing houses for consideration. GR and Dr. Young are in production now, creating a VidLit version of the book with embedded video, static imagery, and additional content. The VidLit version of CRUSHED will release Fall 2012. GR also provides promotional initiatives and public appearance coordination for Dr. Young.
