The bedrock of our wisdom as Christians is found in Scripture. Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.

So why don’t we study the Bible as a family? Maybe because it’s a crazy-hard thing to do. It isn’t as if there are books or curriculum out there that adapt Scripture to the various age groups in our families.

Or that make it easy for seriously time-deprived primary breadwinners of the family.

Or that give over $260,000 in prize money for those who demonstrate an ability to memorize and understand scripture.

Oh, wait.

The National Bible Bee does all that and more! When we first encountered the outstanding materials of the Bee, we were floored. Who knew such incredible material was available for family leaders who know that grounding our kiddos and marriage in the Word is more important than any Summer sport or extracurricular activity?
