A New Omartian

Millions of Christians have learned from the wisdom of Stormie Omartian through Power of a Praying Wife and her other prayer-centric works like Praying the Bible Into Your Life, Powerful Prayers for Troubled Times, and Prayers from a Woman’s Heart.

But a new generation of Omartian has just hit the publishing scene.

Paige Armstrong Omartian, together with Harvest House, recently released her clarion call - Wake Up Generation: You Have a Life. How Will You Use It?

Paige, who joined Stormie’s son Chris in marriage in 2011, is a former iShine recording artist and nationally recognized performer. The petite powerhouse’s battle with cancer at just 11 years old helped form the young woman of today who is wise beyond her years – and hungry to wake up her generation to its purpose.

“It’s like we’re walking around, asleep,” Paige says. “Something in my generation keeps us in a near-trance. Our music is defeatist. Our entertainment says we’re irrelevant. We’ve forgotten that each of us is created with purpose, to do and be in such a way that the world is changed for us having been here. My heart’s desire is to be a catalyst that awakens and enlivens my generation.”
